Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. The quote tool only needs six pieces of information: gender, birth date, health status (in your own words), smoking history, desired death benefit, and coverage period. Those details are all that's required to generate carrier rates. Personal identification and medical specifics are collected only when you choose to move forward with an application.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These are the rates each carrier has quoted for the health rating you indicated. Once underwriting reviews your full application, the carrier may confirm, improve, or adjust your rating, and your final premium could differ. This site offers estimates for comparison purposes only and does not guarantee any specific rate or price.

What happens when I click Apply?

Selecting Apply directs you to a secure platform where the application opens with your answers already entered. The process continues on the carriers' protected system, where you can pause and return later. You'll complete your signature electronically. The entire application process is managed by Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed insurance firm (License 0B75129).

Will I need a medical exam?

It depends on the carrier, the coverage amount, and your responses. Certain carriers with accelerated programs can make decisions quickly for qualified candidates; each quote indicates whether an exam is required, possible, or unnecessary for that specific product.

Is a longer term better?

Choose a term based on when you need protection: mortgage years, dependent years, business debt years. Longer terms mean higher monthly costs but lock in your rate for more years. The quote tool lets you see side-by-side pricing for 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The rate tool does not ask for contact information. We do not sell or share your information. Our first-party counter respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, yet the site also includes a cookieless page-view beacon from our content delivery provider that does not read those signals. The privacy page describes this in full.
